Hosting stores and runs your website so people can visit it online. Your domain is its address, such as yourbusiness.com.au. Website design creates the pages and appearance; email hosting provides your mailboxes. They are separate services, so you can use Crawfords for the parts you need.

The monthly price pays for hosting one WordPress website. Design, content assembly, transfers, domains, email and paid software are separate. You can edit the website yourself or ask us to quote for help. Planned free self-service setup installs a fresh WordPress site, not a completed design. Online setup is not open yet.

Choose the storage your website files and database need. All three plans have the same listed hosting essentials. If you are unsure, tell us about your site. Its public address starts the conversation; accurate storage figures may require information from your current hosting account.

Talk to us when you need more room. We will review the site and agree the new allowance and price before a plan change. For a busy site or shop, we also consider traffic and application requirements; more storage alone does not establish its capacity.

Prices include GST and are billed monthly. Before activation, ask us to explain the payment arrangements, billing start date, and cancellation or plan-change terms for your service. A monthly price is not a promise of a particular refund policy or minimum term.

An existing WordPress site can be assessed for a transfer without a redesign. We check its theme, plugins, paid licences and special features before quoting. Sites made with other systems may need rebuilding in WordPress as part of our service. A refresh or redesign is optional work that we discuss separately.

Yes. Keep your domain provider and point the website to Crawfords, or ask about managed domain and DNS arrangements through our GoDaddy account. A registrar transfer is not required. Registration, transfers and renewals are separate costs, with management and renewal responsibilities agreed before any change.

Moving a website does not normally require moving its email. Tell us who supplies your mailboxes so we can check and preserve the relevant domain settings. If email is bundled with your old hosting, it needs a continuing home before that account is cancelled. Moving email is a separate service.

We quote after reviewing the site and work involved. Start with its address, current provider and special features, such as a shop, bookings or member accounts. Access, licences, rebuilding and domain changes affect the work and timing. We agree a changeover plan for your site.

Agree the important checks with us: pages, forms, bookings, redirects and, for shops, checkout and changing order data. We also review domain and email arrangements. A move can involve interruption, and search rankings cannot be guaranteed. The quote establishes what needs testing and how the changeover will be handled.

Send the website address and current provider first. If you do not know how it was built, we can help identify the options. Please do not send passwords in the initial enquiry; we will explain any access needed. Keep the old hosting active until the transfer is complete and checked.

Included hosting maintenance covers the server environment and its security updates. WordPress core, themes, plugins, paid licences and compatibility repairs are separate responsibilities to agree with us or your developer. Do not assume every application update or repair is covered by the hosting fee. Ask about quoted website care if needed.

Backup arrangements are agreed when preparing your hosting: content covered, retained history, requesting a restore or copy, any fees and storage accounting. The self-service website backup-download portal is being prepared. VM replication supports infrastructure recovery; it is not a historical website backup or a guarantee of recovering every change.

Hosting faults, application failures and infections can need different work; investigation, restore assistance and website-specific cleanup are assessed accordingly. We do not promise a fixed recovery time or include unlimited malware repair in the advertised hosting scope.

Yes, sign into WordPress to edit pages, text, photos and other content. If you have a developer, tell us what access and tools they need so we can agree suitable arrangements. Design changes, content work or development assistance from Crawfords can be quoted separately.

WordPress provides content-export tools. Before arranging a move, discuss website files, the database, transfer assistance, cancellation and access to retained backups with us. A content export is not necessarily a complete working copy. Paid themes, plugins, images and other licensed material may have their own transfer restrictions.

Tell us about the shop, expected traffic and important features so we can assess its hosting needs. Storage is only one factor; themes, plugins and checkout activity also matter. Paid extensions, payment-provider fees and separately agreed setup work are additional costs. An optional separate MySQL service can be quoted where useful.

This service is for ordinary websites, including photos, product images and embedded videos. We do not host CDN or content-delivery servers, proxy servers, streaming services or primarily media-distribution websites. Tell us about heavy traffic or unusual resource requirements; these plans do not advertise unlimited traffic or dedicated CPU and memory.

Yes, contact Crawfords to discuss an account. Planned self-service signup will initially be available in Australia, with overseas requests arranged through staff. VPN use does not automatically make you ineligible, although signup may need additional review. Online self-service setup and its verification process are still being prepared.
